The Management Department prepares students to manage resources, make informed decisions, and lead with integrity in a complex world. Management students participate in applied learning experiences which help them develop critical competencies and prepare them to serve their organizations and society. Our students graduate with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in public, private, and nonprofit organizations, and for graduate education.
The Management major allows flexibility to support each student’s interests. Students have four electives to focus their studies in entrepreneurship and small business management, international business, leadership, project management, sport management, strategic human resource management, or strategic management. The Management Department also offers the Entrepreneurship Minor, Management Minor, and Human Resource Development Minor .
