Return to: Academic Departments
Students in the Management Major who select the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management track will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to create, identify, and effectively implement a strategy to produce and test a minimum viable product or service, and communicate persuasively to gain support and acquire resources. Students completing this track, will develop a tolerance for “qualified failure” as they receive feedback and proceed towards implementation of a viable idea. Over the sequence of courses students will engage in experimentation and incremental decision making to ensure scarce resources produce meaningful information regardless of success or failure.
