In addition to the Pre-Business Foundation and Skills courses and the Business core, students pursuing a Management Major are required to complete 18 credits in foundational management courses and 12 credits in elective courses or a specialized management track. The foundational courses help students develop confidence in the application of competencies in critical and creative thinking, oral and written communication, teamwork and leadership, and managing human and material resources. Elective courses provide the opportunity for students to focus their study in one of six management disciplines: Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, International Management, Leadership, Project Management, Strategic Human Resource Development, and Strategic Management. Students also may use electives to explore a broad range of management contexts.
