Project Management Concentration


This series of courses provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage projects which complete objectives, on time, and within budget. Students develop confidence in using concepts and tools to scope work, estimate costs, schedule and assign activities, lead teams, monitor and communicate progress, and evaluate the success of projects. Students completing this concentration gain familiarity and project management systems and software, and learn how to motivate individuals, manage teams, and track progress. Students must also complete MGMT - 211. Management  which is a prerequisite course for MGMT 329 .

Requirements for the Concentration in Project Management (15 credits):


Students complete three courses providing the foundational knowledge for managing projects.
