Designed for students majoring in Physics who wish to have a more substantial concentration in Biology and/or Chemistry.

Requirements for the Major, B.S. in Physics (Biological Chemical Sciences Track)(36 credits):

And one additional course for at least two credits from the following list:

Students must also complete an independent research project:

The independent research project must be taken from the following courses for a minimum of 2 credits total.

Auxiliary (35 credits)

Students must also take 9 additional credits in either biology or chemistry. (9 credits)

  • Biology, courses must be BIOL 220 or above.
  • Chemistry, courses must be CHEM 210 or above.
