The Business Minor allows non-business students to add strength, breadth and diversity to their Bachelor’s Degree. The minor includes classes in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Management, providing students with a deeper understanding of business theory, applications, and practices. Courses are team focused, developing skills in team interaction, group presentations, and leadership. Students who complete the minor develop career ready skills in their chosen industry.
Requirements for the Minor, Business (19 or 18 credits):
Students majoring in business may not select the Business Minor.
Those pursuing a B.A. in Economics who want a business minor are required to take an additional School of Business course at the 200 level or above, from any department except Economics.
No course used to fulfill the business minor may be taken pass/fail.
** This course was added as an option for students interested in pursuing their MBA at Siena College. The course also has BAAS-130 as a prerequisite.
