Requirements for the Minor, Italian (18 credits):

• ITAL - 201. Intermediate Italian I 3 credit(s) *
• ITAL - 202. Intermediate Italian II 3 credit(s) *
• ITAL - 301. Communication in Italian I 3 credit(s) *
• ITAL - 302. Communication in Italian II 3 credit(s) *
• 6 credits of advanced Italian Electives **

• *A minimum of three courses must be taken at Siena.

• ** Additional courses taken to count toward the minor must be approved by the Assistant Dean.

•  

• Declared Italian minors must request permission from the department chair to have a course in English counted toward their requirements.
• Only one Italian course taught in English can count in the minor.
• With the exception of one permitted Italian course taught in English, courses below ITAL 201   cannot count in the minor. 
• The remaining courses are taken outside of Siena (at nationally or internationally accredited institutions).
