• SPAN - 302. Communication in Spanish II 3 credit(s)
• SPAN - 320. Introduction to Hispanic Literature 3 credit(s) (or equivalent SPLT)
• SPAN - 340. Advanced Communication in Spanish 3 credit(s) (must be completed at Siena)
• SPAN - 355. Transatlantic Connections in the Spanish-Speaking World 3 credit(s)
• Two SPAN 400 Level Courses:

•     One course SPAN 400 or higher with the SPLT attribute 3 credit(s)*

•     One additional course SPAN 400 or higher 3 credit(s)*

•     *Indicates that one of the two 400 courses must be taken at Siena.

• Declared Spanish majors must request permission from the Spanish faculty to have one of the courses below counted toward their requirements. Students who have not yet declared their major in Spanish may request to have one of the following courses counted retroactively:

• A study abroad experience is strongly advised (preferably a minimum of one semester during the junior year). Courses taken abroad may count toward the major.
