3 credit(s) This course looks at a number of books written for non-economists, and expects students to critically analyze their economic content. The required books are, with a single exception, chosen by the students enrolled in the class. In addition, students are expected to write and publish newspaper editorials on economic topics of their choosing. This course is very reading intensive, and emphasizes communication skills. Permission of Instructor required.
