3 credit(s) This course examines health care systems, their policies and outcomes throughout the developed world. The delivery of care, organizational structure, the impact of political and economic characteristics as well as health outcomes within populations provide the framework within which health systems are analyzed. In addition, the impact of health care policies on the larger society as well as emerging trends and problems are explored.
