PHIL - 330. Philosophy of Science 3 credit(s) This course examines various aspects of science from a philosophical perspective. Topics may include: scientific explanation; causation; induction, confirmation and underdetermination; realism and the nature of theories; scientific change and rationality; and science, culture, and society. Thinkers to be considered may include Hempel, Popper, and Kuhn.
