EDUC - 491. Clinical Experience in the Elementary School
10 credit(s) This culminating fieldwork course is a one-semester, full-time student teaching experience. The candidate will develop and implement an instructional plan under the guidance of cooperating teachers and Siena University personnel. Application must be made prior to the student teaching semester. Students must obtain fingerprint clearance prior to beginning field experiences. Open only to majors at Siena University. Fieldwork requirement of 14 weeks/70 days total (in adherence to NYSED Regulations).
Prerequisite(s): Completion of the education sequence, EDUC 480, EDUC 495, EDUC 496, and the Dignity for All Students Workshop
