ACCT - 440. Taxation II

This course presents the federal taxation and life cycle of various business entities (specifically C Corporations, Partnerships and S Corporations) and their owners, as well as the tax impact of property transactions. Additional topics may include: comparison of worldwide tax regimes, multijurisdictional state taxation issues, inbound and outbound tax compliance, and current issues in tax law. Emphasis on using relevant technological tools such as traditional tax research software, excel, and tax forms will be incorporated into the course. Researching, analyzing, and effectively communicating findings will be an integral aspect of this course.

Prerequisite(s): ACCT 340 .
