3 credit(s) The course is designed to prepare and expose students to public policy making in New York State and allow them to participate in public policy formulation and execution at the state, substate and not-for-profit level. Students will serve as Public Service interns working 120 to 150 hours during the semester performing duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency supervisor in consultation with the faculty director. Students will be graded based upon the joint evaluation of the agency supervisor and internship professor. Written permission of the internship supervisor is required.
