SUST - 200. Introduction to Sustainability: Principles and Practice

In this course, students will learn sustainability principles and values by considering the interactions among ecosystems, economics and communities in approaches to environmental issues and a view toward long-term, innovative solutions. Both a conceptual understanding and technical skills are gained and a range of topics and case studies are covered including eco-spirituality, social equity, environmental justice, food, energy, product life cycles, and cities.
