3 credit(s) This course examines digital evidence procedures, focusing on techniques and emerging trends among various crimes within our society. Students will learn the fundamental process of understanding evidence that can be obtained from digital sources and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). Students will further learn to analyze data collected from electronic devices and extract valuable digital information, conduct investigations, and enhance decision-making processes in various domains. The course will cover governance, ethical considerations, legal frameworks, and social implications (GELSI) for utilizing OSINT effectively and responsibly.
