3 credit(s) The main goal of this course is to improve the students’ knowledge of the Spanish language and its usage. This will be accomplished through utilizing Spanish grammar in context through writing compositions, conversational practice, improving pronunciation, becoming familiar with linguistic terminology, and reading cultural articles and literary selections from Latin America and Spain. The course takes into consideration the variation in grammar and vocabulary in countries where Spanish is spoken, thus highlighting cultural diversity.
