3 credit(s) An applied learning experience designed to increase a student’s knowledge of a professional field they are considering for a career. Interns will work at host sites on projects and assignments consistent with the host site’s mission. Interns will determine their projects in consultation with the host site supervisor and a full-time faculty member in the History Department. The intern’s assessments will be based on the joint evaluation of the site supervisor and the instructor of record. Students must have completed a minimum of 53 credits and maintain a 3 .0 GP A overall. Students can apply a maximum of 6 academic internship credits toward the History Major or Minor.
