3 credit(s)
In this collaborative studio course, students from all Game Design tracks will form teams to create a series of game components for their portfolios. Simulated sprints modeled after real-world game development teams will be practiced. Production marketing and management  students will take on the role of Producer and manage a team of Visual Art & Design and Programming track students to carry out short, fast, and focused projects. These projects will allow students to choose the most appropriate game engines and design approaches to accomplish assignment objectives on a strict timeline. Connections between academic concepts and real-world practices necessary for professional game development will be made.
