Applied Leadership Concentration

No matter your major- finance, accounting, marketing, economics, history, psychology, computer science, biology, etc. - if you perform well in your job, you will soon be promoted to a leadership role. Courses in this concentration will provide in-depth knowledge on leadership theories and insight into effective, ethical leadership practices. Students will examine and develop their own leadership style and sharpen skills that apply to an ever-changing world, including thinking like a leader, leading and energizing teams, communicating with confidence, and making informed decisions. This concentration is excellent preparation for students who want to start a business, work in the public or private sectors, join a not-for-profit or pursue graduate education.
