Strategic Human Resource Development Concentration


This series of courses examines the critical role of human resource management in achieving an organization’s strategic objectives. Emphasis is on skills and techniques for developing an integrated approach towards human resource functions aligned with the organization’s strategy. This concentration is excellent preparation for students who want to start a business, work in the public or private sectors, join a not-for-profit or pursue graduate education. Students must also complete MGMT - 211. Management  which is a prerequisite course for MGMT 329  and MGMT 332 .

Requirements for the Concentration in Human Resource Development (15 credits):


Students complete one elective to provide additional perspective on strategically managing human resources within an organization.
