QBUS - 120. Mathematics for Decision Making III 3 credit(s) An introductory course discussing (multivariable) calculus, basic probability, and decision theory with a fous on business applications. Topics include several variable function theory, partial differentiation, optimization problems and LaGrange multipliers, Taylor polynomials, infinite series. Basic probability and its application to payoffs and losses, utility, decision trees and sensitivity analysis, Bayesian analysis, inference and decision making.
