An advanced level studio course in which students explore chromatic, spatial, and perceptual complexities of painting. Students will inquire into the purpose of painting and analyze the historical and contemporary uses of the media. Students will apply contemporary art theory to create and critique their own portfolio of work. Basic Design Fee.
