CREA - 314. Painting I

An introductory level studio course covering the practice, history, and theory of painting. The use of the brush, color theory, and the depiction of space will be explored through the observational study of a variety of subjects. Students will inquire into the purpose of painting and analyze the historical and contemporary uses of the media. Emphasis will be placed on the creative application of the media. Basic Design Fee.
