Sociology Minor

Requirements for the Minor, Sociology (18 credits):

Minor will consist of at least six courses (18 credit course) in Sociology, which must include one of the following:

• SOCI - 101. The Sociological Perspective (theme varies) 3 credit(s)   OR
• SOCI - 120. Global Social Problems 3 credit(s)   OR
• SOCI - 130. Sociology of Families 3 credit(s)

• Four Sociology courses from SOCI 201 through SOCI 499 12 credit(s)
• Sociology Elective 3 credit(s)

• Departmental Colloquia: All Sociology Majors are expected to attend at least one of four colloquia on career and research topics offered annually by the department.
