Requirements for Major, B.S. in Biology (36 credits AND 11 courses):
1 Course from Each of the Following Areas:
- Form and Function (FORM) 4 credit(s)
- Organismic & Population (ORPO) 3-4 credit(s)
- Physiology (PHYL) 4 credit(s)
3 additional Biology Electives, BIOL 225 level or greater with the exception of BIOL 299 ., BIOL 399 ., Genetics Lab or BIOL 490 . Capstone research in Biology (BIOL 499 .) may fulfill one of the three additional courses.
Biology majors must earn a C- or better in any biology course listed as a prerequisite for another biology course: non-majors must earn a D- or better. Students who fail to meet this criterion may be removed from the class roster prior to the start of classes. Students will be notified in advance of any such changes.
