4 credit(s) This course will examine the molecular mechanisms that control animal developmental processes. This will include a description of the genes and regulatory mechanisms that direct development in a range of animals, as well as the experimental basis for our understanding of these processes. The use of invertebrate model genetic organisms to identify conserved components and mechanisms of development will be highlighted. Lab fee.
