SWRK - 440. Social Welfare Policy 3 credit(s) This course provides a systematic analysis of a range of social welfare policies and programs and their impact on individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. Through the use of analytical and experiential learning, emphasis is placed on developing policy practice skills to promote social, environmental and economic justice, equality, equity and human rights within the context of political, legislative and community processes.
Note: Specialized professional courses, restricted to students who have been admitted into the Social Work Program.
