SPAN - 320. Introduction to Hispanic Literature 3 credit(s) In this course, students develop critical reading, writing and speaking skills. Students accomplish this by reading short stories, poetry, plays and novels, working on vocabulary, analyzing the readings, writing essays and speaking in Spanish in class. Literary texts from the 14th to the 21st century are used as a tool for students to understand sociopolitical, historical, and cultural contexts of Spain and Latin America.
