CREA - 174. Ballet Technique Dance Class

This course is a beginning course in ballet technique. Material presented in class will include barre work, center work, and across-the-floor cobinations to introduce basic ballet technique and movement vocabulary. We will work towards mastering the basic rules of alignment, classical line and execution of movements, buidling physical strength and stamina, as well as musicality and performance quality. The purchase of appropriate dance clothing (leotard, tights, ballet slippers) is the responsibility of the student.
