SWRK - 320. Social Work Practice with Individuals and Families 3 credit(s) This is the third of a four-part sequence of social work practice courses (SWRK 200 ; SWRK 315 ; SWRK 320; SWRK 415 ). It is designed to give the learner an opportunity to understand and apply BSW Generalist Practice as it relates to micro (individuals) and mezzo (families) systems. The course emphasizes the Generalist Intervention Model - engagement, assessment/data collection, planning, implementation/intervention, evaluation and termination. The course builds on working with people from diverse backgrounds.
Note: Specialized professional courses, restricted to students who have been admitted into the Social Work Program.
Prerequisite(s): SWRK 300 and SWRK 301 and SWRK 310 (SWRK 301 and SWRK 310 may be taken concurrently).
