An introduction to the principles of financial management. This course emphasizes an understanding of the role of finance within the firm. Topics covered include the elements of financial planning, valuation, cost of capital, and capital budgeting under conditions of certainty and risk.

Prerequisite(s): ECON 101 ECON 102 , and QBUS 100  or MATH 110 , ACCT 205  (may be taken concurrently), or permission.
