SWRK - 100. Introduction to Social Welfare and Social Work
3 credit(s) This course provides beginning knowledge and a methodology for analysis of social welfare and social work issues and problems. Social policies, programs and services designed to address these issues and problems are also presented. The course introduces the profession of social work and its theoretical approaches including Holistic, Ecological, Systems and Strengths/Capacities perspectives on the human condition.
