ILST - 100. Introduction to International Studies 3 credit(s) This course introduces students to the examination of ways that people of the world, including themselves, are interconnected around the globe. Work is centered on four themes: culture, context (historical, political, economic, environmental, religious, geographical, artistic, etc.), crossing borders, and intercultural communication (particularly as a means to resolving conflict). This course is introductory, grounded in the Humanities, and interdisciplinary in nature.
