ILST - 100. Introduction to International Studies

This course introduces students to the examination of ways that people of the world, including themselves, are interconnected around the globe. Work is centered on four themes: culture, context (historical, political, economic, environmental, religious, geographical, artistic, etc.), crossing borders, and intercultural communication (particularly as a means to resolving conflict). This course is introductory, grounded in the Humanities, and interdisciplinary in nature.
