NURS - 260. Transition to Nursing Practice 3 credit(s) This course is designed to prepare the student for entry into practice by exploring issues of nursing practice, roles and responsibilities. The role of the nurse as a manager of patient care will be discussed. A 63 hour clinical experiential learning experience is required. Students will also prepare for the steps of entry into practice such as resume writing, interviewing, and applying for a license and the licensing exam. This course may be repeated once for credit.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 240 Attribute: ARTS, NOEX
