HIST - 486. Topics in Revolutionary Era History 3 credit(s) A study of specialized topics encompassing the Revolutionary Era from 1754 to 1815 that include: Economics of the Revolution; Education in the Colonies; Blacks in the Revolution: Free and Slave; Local History-Albany, Schenectady, Troy in the Revolution; Weapons and Tactics in the World and Revolution, 1785-1815; Colonial Women; Diplomacy in the Revolutionary Era. The specific topic is announced in the schedule of course offerings. Students may repeat the course for credit provided the selected subject matter has not been taken previously for credit.
