EDUC - 646. Instructional Design and Contemporary Tools
3 credit(s) This course facilitates critical decision-making required for high-quality instructional planning. The course focuses on evaluating high-quality instructional materials with an emphasis on digital literacy and tools for designing learning experiences through research-based practices in service to diverse learners. Course objectives include effectively utilizing contemporary tools, developing a range of student-centered instructional practices, differentiating curricular materials and instructional strategies to promote equitable access and participation. Students will also examine and apply strategies for integrating technology across instructional practices, with an emphasis on building student agency.
