ENVA - 445. Wetlands

Wetlands will explore natural factors and human-related interactions that influence the structure, function, and diversity of wetland ecosystems. Topics will include wetlands classification, delineation, hydrology, soils, biogeochemistry, and biological communities. Students will learn approaches to wetland conservation, restoration, and protection, assessment and evaluation of wetland functions and values, and the role of wetlands across the landscape. 

Prerequisite(s): ENVA 205 ,  (ENVA 250  or BIOL 225  )
