3 credit(s) The course introduces students to the creative process of doing mathematics and the language and style of precise mathematical communication. We do this by investigating logic, set theory and mathematical proof. The main emphasis of the course is on composing logically correct mathematical arguments and communicating those arguments through oral and written presentations.
