MATH - 101. Preparation for Calculus

A study of the foundational mathematical skills needed for Calculus and college quantitative courses.  This course includes a study of functions and graphs, polynomial and rational functions, logarithmic and exponential functions, trigonometric functions, and solving equations and inequalities, including systems and relevant matrix arithmetic.  Applications, reasoning, and approximation skills are emphasized to lay a foundation for effective learning in college-level quantitative courses.
