GBUS - 650. MS Business Analytics Capstone

This capstone course is designed to give the students the opportunity to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills learned in the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) core curriculum. Students will complete either a consulting or an applied research project that reflects the application, synthesis and evaluation of the concepts, tools, and technical approaches of business analytics studied throughout the program. In this course, students will gain experience in approaching an open-ended question; scoping, planning, and executing a data analytics team project; engaging with real-world data; applying technical skills and software to preprocess and analyze complex data; and presenting to diverse group of stakeholders. The course emphasizes the integration of an analytics minded approach to problems with various business perspectives and experiential collaboration.
