MATH - 314. Modeling in Biology(2 hours of lecture, 2 hours laboratory) 3 credit(s) Examples of mathematical modeling will be applied in the context of biological problems drawn from ecology, evolution, epidemiology, public health, economics, biochemical reactions, and medicine. Analysis techniques will draw from differential equations, probability, optimization, and game theory, with the overarching theme of model development and implementation, analysis, and result interpretation.
