RELG - 305. Religion in America 3 credit(s) An examination of certain religious traditions as ways of understanding the development and practice of religion in America. The central focus is on the interaction between religion and American culture. Using a historical approach, the course examines mainstream religious traditions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, as well as non-mainstream religious traditions, such as African American Religion and American Buddhism.
Prerequisite(s): RELG 101 or RELG 121 or RELG 181 Attribute: AMSC, ARTS, CAR, CFD, REB, RSHS
