3 credit(s)
Religion in Western Culture is an introduction to religion that examines three traditions that originated in the east - Judaism, Christianity, and Islam -  in the context of the wider western culture. It uses primary texts to analyze history, community, and practice. Particular attention is given to transitions and transformations to determine how such touchstones respond to and influence relationships between religion and cultural diversity.
