1-3 credit(s) Qualified students are encouraged to undertake an independent study project in their junior or senior year. Such a project requires the approval of the faculty member supervising the project and the department head. The student qualifies for his or her grade and credits by the submission of a satisfactory written report. When appropriate, an examination may be required. Students are limited to no more than one independent study project in any academic year.
