1-3 credit(s) Students pursue open-ended experimental or theoretical investigations of their choice with faculty approval and supervision. The research instruments of the School are available including spectrometers, electromagnets, an X- ray diffractometer, and nuclear detectors. Seminars and written reports are required. One three-hour laboratory or research period per credit. Lab fee.
