SPAN - 495. Independent Study in Spanish

A Spanish major or minor may work independently on a topic of special interest with a professor to decide on a topic of study that will produce a definite accomplishment by the end of the semester. This study must be approved by the Department Head and the Dean of Liberal  Arts. In a guided writing assignment of their choice, the student is expected to demonstrate familiarity with the tools basic to the study and an awareness of the methods appropriate to pursuing their interest.
