CSIS - 302. Computational Tools and Topics for Computer Graphics1 credit(s) This course is an introduction to fundamental mathematical concepts and related computational tools inherent to computer game development. The course is designed for students who are familiar with algebra and trigonometry from previous courses or experience. Students will develop an aptitude for mathematics and a knowledge of a graphics-oriented programming language that will be helpful for upper-level courses, including Computer Graphics and Game Development. Topics include vectors and matrices, transforms, and coordinate geometry. These topics will be taught both from a theoretical aspect, and also from a computational aspect using a high-level programming language. Prerequisite(s): CSIS 210 Attribute: ARTS |
