ECON - 322. Economics of Poverty 3 credit(s) This course examines the nature and extent of poverty in the United States from an economist’s point of view. Special consideration is given to the antipoverty effects of existing and proposed government programs and policies. Competing theories of poverty and alternative approaches to research on poverty are investigated.
